About this website

Welcome to my website, home of the Clear Skies Observing Guides. A site focused on visual astronomy and a place to share a passion for the nighttime sky. Stargazing with a side of photography.

About me

Victor van Wulfen. Born in 1977, raised in the Netherlands. Lived in Jakarta, Indonesia (JIS class of '95), the USA (Texas, Arizona and Arkansas) and now resides in the town of Heeswijk-Dinther in the Netherlands.

Always working to get the glass completely full. As an astronomer, strives to always observe new objects when at the eyepiece.

Likes people with a passion. Gets goosebumps when watching videos of a space shuttle launch or a Mars rover landing.

Per aspera ad astra.
