In last week's newsletter I promised a new CSOG edition, to be published mid-June. Well, I lied... It's not going to be one: it's going to be four.

New CSOG editions, coming very soon

This weekend, I will publish 4 new CSOG editions:

All of Astrotreff's Objects of the Month in the year 2019
The Golden Gate's Star Party General Observing List
The Golden Gate's Star Party Challenge List
The Golden Gate's Star Party 2025 Observing Program; no list for 2026 is posted (yet?), but since I didn't compile this edition in time for last year's GSSP, I will add it now.

As always, the new Star Party Observing Programs will be available for download without logging in for the duration of the party, so no need for a CSOG registration & support donation. But very much appreciated.

Golden State Star Party - Observing List - index

An index file and an AstroPlanner planfile will be included with the 2019 Astrotreff Objects of the Year.

An index file, an AstroPlanner planfile and Tour files will be included with the all Golden State Star Party Observing Programs.

If you know of any other Star Party Observing Programs that are worth adding to the ever growing collection of CSOG editions, or if you would like to create an observing program to share at a star party you plan on attending: please let me know and I will be happy to piece it together.

Discovery page update

Exporting the new CSOG editions described above and having nothing better to do than to scroll through imagery in Aladin Lite, I came across a small and faint (reflection) nebula in Cygnus that - to the best of my knowledge - is uncataloged. Added it to my list of potential discoveries as nr. 395.
