This Wednesday morning, I received the dreadful news of the passing of Owen Brazell. Renowned British astronomer, avid observer, president of the Webb Deep-Sky Society, editor of the Webb's Deep-Sky Observer magazine, Deep Sky Forum Object of the Week author and much more. He was involved in a traffic accident on his way to the Kelling Heath Spring Star Party.

Let's all celebrate Owen's life by observing the galaxies that he featured as his last Galaxies of the Month for the Webb Deep-Sky Society, next time we are out under the stars: NGC2537 - the "Bear Paw Galaxy" and IC2233 in Lynx. I have no doubt it is what he would have wanted us to do.
