Observing sessions 2011
A small scope session, first observations of the year. Transparency wasn't great. Observed carbon stars, open clusters, a planetary nebula and a supernova remnant in Taurus, 2 nebulae
A small scope session under not too transparent skies. Setup the telescope behind my car due to strong winds. Observed carbon stars and open clusters in Orion, Monoceros
A relatively long session under quite good skies. Observed galaxies in Lynx, carbon stars in Cancer, a planetary nebula in Leo and lots of galaxies in Ursa Major.
The first night of this astrotrip, clouds interfered most of the session. Observed only a few carbon stars in Ursa Minor, Draco, Virgo & Libra and 2 galaxies
This second night of the astrotrip, the skies cleared after a cloudy day and evening. Transparency was below average. Observed galaxies in Draco and the globular cluster Messier
Third night of this astrotrip. Observed galaxies in Draco and Ursa Major until the clouds rolled in.
1 planetary nebula
72 galaxies
2 double stars
Total: 75
Fourth session of the astrotrip under clear but quite humid skies. Observed galaxies in Virgo and Boötes.
51 galaxies
1 double star
Total: 52 observations
First time
Fifth session of the astrotrip under great skies. Observed galaxies and a planetary nebula in Leo, followed by many galaxies in Virgo, Boötes & Hercules, ending the session
